Nparks Streetscape and Nature Reserves
Swee Bee is honoured to be one of National Parks Board term contractors in making progress towards achieving the transformation of a City in Nature. For the past decade, as one of NParks long term landscape contractor, we collectively play our part to integrate nature into the urban area, strengthening Singapore’s green infrastructure and making the city a highly liveable place. Along the years, we have worked hard to manage the landscapes in verdant streetscapes, nature ways and nature reserves across Singapore.
Education Institutions
Nurturing our future generation by creating a holistic and conducive learning environment. We have served numerous institutions nationally from landscape design, built, maintenance and planting works. We thoughtfully design and incorporate natural habitat into the surrounding space, premises and utilities to immerse students in the natural world. At the same time, we strive to mitigate the risk that could put lives in danger and minimize the disturbance where possible when we perform our work in the compound.
We work beyond achieving aesthetically pleasing design while enacting social change in the work we do. We worked closely with Yale-NUS College to transform a decorative rooftop planter area into a community garden and improve the pond in the campus to build a habitat area for dragonflies. It has been such a rewarding journey creating a positive environmental impact and social responsibility. We are delighted and appreciative to play an important role in helping Yale-NUS to achieve the prestigious Gold Award in Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework (LEAF) by National Parks Board for Yale-NUS College for two consecutive years in Year 2020 and Year 2021.
MOE Schools Tree Saplings
All of us have green thumbs as long as we take the time and effort to make it happen and it all begins with cultivating an innate interest in the natural world in our younger generation. We were awarded as the main contractor by MOE to supply, deliver and plant trees sapling at the schools. Not only that it improves the overall aesthetics in the compound, it also provides opportunities for environmental education, getting youths thinking about environmental conservation early.
Town Councils and Community Clubs
Co-creating a better and more sustainable living environment is a cornerstone of our housing estate and communities. Swee Bee continually plays a key role to support the green initiatives and sustainability projects in shaping this green journey for the towns. Till date, we maintain the landscape of several town councils in Singapore. We stay dedicated to maintaining the beauty of the estates and build on the current sustainability momentum in Singapore. We upkeep the general tidiness of the estate, maintain the growth rate of the plants and manage safety for the public.
