Light Preference
Full Sun: Prefers at least 6-8 hours of sunlight, with 0-30% shade.
Water Preference
Moderate Water: Prefers soil to be slightly damp or moist, and allowed to dry out slightly between water sessions. Frequent watering, sometimes once or twice daily, is usually needed.
Soil Requirements
The soil should have good drainage and have a low ph value. At the time of planting, it can be beneficial to add a soil amendment, to increase the amount of organic matter that reaches the roots of this plant.
Fertilizer Needs
Dwarf Ixora also does well with regular fertilization. Try adding a granular fertilizer once in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. The best fertilizer to use is one that is acidic and has a good amount of potassium.
